i was speking to the guy who kips under therailway bridge in southend today , its fucking freezing out there at the moment , i dont know how they survive to be honest , but on top of that he said some guy at 5am this morning booted him in the fucking head and kept it moving.
he's got a nice double black eye

Reminds me of one where I used to live called Peg-leg.
He was a career smackhead who had a criminal history going back to the 80s or something who was always in the local rag for some latest order or whatever banning him from a part of town. Anyway he had a false leg and I think once went to prison for hiding smack he was selling in it. He'd always end up selling the leg for smack money but before this happened his sob story always involved pulling it off in front of the people he was trying to get money out of.
Finally went down for conning some downs bloke out of his parents life savings so not all laughs and jokes though

JAFKD, I work in the City and have seen at least five who do it. My particular annoyance is the one around Leadenhall Market who interrupts groups of people talking and has the obligatory dog in tow. He goes from group to group and then goes over the road to the Crosse Keys and if he doesn't get chucked out manages to get on the lash with his takings. Blatant ponce and I just don't agree with it.

I went shopping in WINDSOR the other week and it'ss full of these types, ready for the wedding.
Quite a few of them get taxis home at the end of day (this is from a local taxi driver).
There used to be 1 English guy who used to beg with his dog, but there's shit loads of them now and most can't speak a word of English.

I don't give to beggars, they p*ss me off to be honest. I have seen so many who just lie and blag and then go and get sh1t faced. I liked the joke on the joke thread that said I was walking past a beggar the other day and he said "Any change" and I said "No, I am still working my b0llocks off to earn and crust and you are still sitting in your own p!ss and poncing". Sums it up pretty well for me. I feel sorry for the genuinely homeless who are down on their luck but I can't work out which ones they are.

I’d be broke if I gave a dollar to every hard luck story who approached me on the subway. Some of them might be genuine but some clearly are not. (For instance, there’s some bloke who’s house appears to have burnt down every month for the last two years) You get numb to it in the end and ignore it all.

Best one round here (southend) is a bloke universally known as Stitches... comes up saying he needs money to get to Southend Hospital as his statiches has come undone... he then lifts his trousers up to show a festering, puss laden hole in his leg... quite a sight... I gave him a couple of quid... came back to work and told my mate... Ahhh... that's Stitches... you've been done... seen him 4 or 5 times since and told him to fuck off... however he did get my missus and her mate the other month.. she now knows... but to be fair it is a work of art how much festering you can get on one leg

Best beggar I have seen is the Bush man of an Francisco.... saying that he was more of an entertainer than a beggar... think just before he died the IRS wanted to start charging him tax as he declared on TV that he had earnt $100,000 the previous year... ha Ha Ha!!
